Third Weekly Drawing for 2007 State Employees' Campaign for Charitable Giving

The Husky mascot and Steve Rhodes, special assistant to the president, conducted the fourth weekly drawing at Chuck & Augie’s on November 29th. Storrs-based faculty and staff submitting pledge cards for the 2007 Campaign are eligible to win donated gifts; the sooner pledge cards are submitted, the sooner employees become eligible to win. Drawings were held throughout November, and will be held at the Campaign’s Appreciation Gala for 2007 supporters, to be held January 17. Thursday’s winners were: Terry Emmons, who won a family membership to the Connecticut State Museum of Natural History/Connecticut Archaeology Center; Barbara Drouin, who won a $25 gift certificate to the UConn Co-op; and Janine Beckwith, who won a $50 gift certificate to the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts, to be used for any Jorgensen event.
